Organizing Into an Organization

Butler Catholic Community (BCC)

Butler students can contribute with Serving by Stitching, meets are Thursdays from 4-5:30pm, but if you are not available to stay you are also welcome to grab the materials to make scarves. The scarves are later then donated to St. John the Evangelist located in downtown Indiana for those experiencing poverty and homelessness.

First off, if you are someone who enjoys helping those in need, Serving by Stitching can be a great place to start. Service by Stitching is run by Butlers Catholic Community, and this is only one of their many activities they have going on. There are many different types of ministries and activities that one can be a part of, as listed below.

Butler’s catholic community has many types of different activities that teach one how to be closer to faith. If you are not religious than there are other ways to help and support the BCC organization. To begin with, you are more then welcome to pray. Support also comes from those who help with food and with finances. It is also import for Butler’s Catholic Community to have support from outside the community. Finally, The BCC organization is to help students with their faith, and to help others come closer to their catholic beliefs. This organization has not only helped students with their faith, but they also teach them way to give back to their communities. BCC is an immaculate way for Butler’s catholic students to keep their faith alive throughout their life at college.
